Corporate partnerships with Crisis

Homelessness can't be ignored any longer.

Homelessness can be overwhelming. It's uncomfortable to confront. Sometimes the more we see it, the more we want to look away. But ignoring homelessness won't help us to end it. This crisis has reached urgent levels.

300,000 households across Great Britain could be forced into homelessness next year because of the rising cost of living and the economic and social impacts of the pandemic.

Get in touch with if you want to learn how your company can support Crisis.

Becoming a partner of Crisis will support you and your colleagues to play a part in ending homelessness for good. The Partnerships team will help you to fundraise creatively and engage in inspiring volunteering opportunities, to show you the impact of your support.

Corporate supporters of Crisis give more than just money. Their time, energy and expertise supports homeless people at our Skylight centres to find their confidence and re-enter employment; our Research and Best Practice team to develop sector-leading campaigns and policy recommendations; and our Christmas guests to take their first steps out of homelessness.

Please get in touch with us today if you are interested in working with Crisis to end homelessness. If you are looking to make a one-off corporate gift, please donate here. If you would like to attend an event or webinar, please register to attend. If you are a business owner or senior colleague at your organisation and would like to make a large personal donation, please visit our philanthropy page.

Strategic partnerships

Crisis' strategic partnerships go beyond simply providing staff with exciting ways to volunteer and fundraise. We work to build partnerships which make a lasting difference to our mission to end homelessness.

Our strategic partnerships can offer your company:

  • The chance to fund a unique project, service or role.
  • Opportunities to influence housing policy at a national level.
  • Innovation workshops and the chance to use your expertise to develop Crisis' resources and staff.

We deliver partnerships with the power to transform the lives of the some of the most vulnerable members of society, whilst also meeting your corporate social responsibility objectives and engaging your staff.

Our strategic partnerships deliver big impact, both for corporate supporters and our members.

Inspire your staff

Your account manager will work with you and your colleagues to devise a unique programme of engagement opportunities designed around your needs and wants. We offer a range of fun, memorable team-building opportunities, and occasions for your staff to volunteer their time and skills to help homeless people. Your staff could:

  • Support members at our Skylight centres by volunteering on our employability programmes. Offer support to guests at Crisis at Christmas centres across Britain.
  • Challenge yourself to fundraise for annual events such as the Icebreaker and Stay Awake for Crisis
  • Take part in a challenge event on behalf of Crisis such as the Three Peaks Challenge, the Jurassic Coast Trek or a running event
  • Set up a monthly donation to Crisis through payroll giving platform GoodPaye
  • Make use of our free Will writing service with Farewill, online or over the phone with an option to leave a gift for Crisis.

Grow your brand

Publicly associating your brand with Crisis can also be a powerful way of increasing your sales, improving customer loyalty and reaching out to and engaging with new audiences.

The Partnerships team can offer tailored communications to engage your audiences in ending homelessness.

Your account manager can work with you to develop a cause-related marketing campaign, where a portion of sales of a product are donated to Crisis.

Companies who support our Crisis Christmas campaign play an important part of our work to support people out of homelessness.

To thank you, we'll promote your company's brand to the UK's business elite in a double page spread in the Financial Times, running twice each December. We will also provide you with digital assets to share your company's support to end homelessness with stakeholders and staff.

Volunteer your time

The team design engagement calendars for all of our corporate partners who are able to commit to a minimum fundraising target of £20,000.

These calendars include a range of seasonal and ad hoc volunteering opportunities for teams and individuals.

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of our volunteering programme, we are not able to offer opportunities to companies who are looking to source one-off team events.

To find out more about the kinds of volunteering opportunities available at Crisis, and how you can play a role in ending homelessness, please contact the Partnerships team today.

Gift-in-kind partnerships

Your company can support Crisis work to end homelessness by donation gifts in kind such as clothing, books, small homeware objects and vinyl records to our Shops from Crisis. Please have a look here to find one of our shops and more information about the items we can accept.

Each year during Crisis at Christmas we receive thousands of donations from the public and corporate partners which allow us to run our Christmas services and give guests a Christmas to remember. Donations include toiletries, clothing, tea, biscuits, gloves and chargers. Please get in touch with the Corporate Partnerships team to find out which items we would especially love for next Christmas.

Our Housing Teams work tirelessly to find adequate accommodation for our members (people experiencing homelessness). However, once we are able to house somebody they are often in need of essential items such as white goods, crockery and furniture, if your company has access to these items and would be interested in exploring donating these to Crisis please contact the Partnerships team.

Lloyds Banking Group

Our partnership with Lloyds Banking Group is our biggest to date and is set to raise an incredible £2 Million over a two-year period.

Alongside Simon Community, our delivery partner in Northern Ireland, we will empower Lloyds Banking Group colleagues to better understand the causes and the prevalence of homelessness and inspire them to play their part in ending it.

Lloyds Banking Group will also support us in partnering with Homes for Good, to establish a new lettings agency which will improve access to good quality, affordable housing for those experiencing homelessness.

We are hugely thankful for the tireless efforts and dedication of Lloyds Banking Group thus far. Our shared believe that everyone should have access to a safe and secure home makes us a formidable transformative force.

We look forward to sharing updates and achievements of the partnership very soon! If you'd like to read further details, see our recent blog post.
